The theme of the 15th International Art Exhibition for Children and Young People is food. The participants could interpret the theme freely in order for his/her culture, environment and individual ideas to emerge. The works could be drawings, paintings, graphics and, for the first time, digital artworks, such as digital images, videos or animations. The maximum size for the paper based works was 42 x 60 cm. For the videos, the maximum duration was 3 minutes. Each participant could submit one artwork and the schools and groups could submit up to 10 artworks. The artworks for the exhibition were selected from the following age categories: under 7 years, 7–9 years, 10–12 years, 13–15 years and 16–18 years.
The invitation for the exhibition was sent out to 180 countries. 5880 artworks were submitted to the 15th International Art Exhibition for Children and Young People. 37 participants were awarded medals and 624 were awarded diplomas. 10 schools were honored and 75 students, 4 classes and one group got diplomas.
200 works got chosen to the exhibition. The rest of the awarded artworks can be seen on a touch screen in Villa Arttu Cultural Centre for Children and Young People in Hyvinkää, Finland.
The exhibition Let's Eat! can be seen 29.10.–14.12.2014 in Villa Arttu in Hyvinkää and 9.1.–29.1.2015 in international cultural centre Caisa in Helsinki, Finland.
